Comunilife provides housing to more than 3,000 low-income New Yorkers. Volunteers can, among other opportunities paint community rooms, plant gardens, and serve as mentors

Become a Comunilife Volunteer

Would you like to be a role model for a Latina teen hoping to graduate from high school and go to college or an adult looking to make a new start?

Are you available on a weekly basis or for a short-term special project?

Are you an individual or part of a team (school or corporate)?

Do you have a special skill that you would like to share?

Do you remember algebra, geometry, chemistry, American History and other high school classes, that could help Latina teens excel academically?

Can you play an instrument or choreograph a dance?

Can you paint, draw, or sculpt?

Use your professional skills to help a housing resident work on their resume, learn to use a computer

Put your "green thumb" to use by helping on one of Comunilife's residential gardens

If you answered YES to any of these questions then you may
be eligible to volunteer at one of Comunilife’s programs.

Volunteers enhance the services that our housing residents or our Latina
teens and their families receive. We work to match each volunteer
with the opportunity that meets their individual talents and availability.

Opportunities exist for ongoing projects and one day events
in the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.
