Transitional Housing
Comunilife’s Transitional Housing Programs offer short term (6 - 24 months) of supportive housing
for homeless New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS, Mental Illness and other chronic conditions. While in Transitional Housing,
residents receive case management services, referrals for medical and social supports and assistance in
securing permanent housing. The program’s goal is to provide the residents with the foundation they need to live independently.
In 2022 Comunilife opened two new transitional residences: Casa Hope, which provides housing for newly arrived asylum seekers
and Brooklyn House, which provides stabilization housing.
