Permanent Scatter Site Housing

Permanent scatter site housing allows residents to live independently, in the community, while having access to care coordination and social and medical services. Comunilife is the largest provider of permanent scatter site apartments, for persons living with HIV/AIDS in New York City, with apartments in the Bronx and Queens.

The program provides long-term housing stability to individuals and families; more than 80% of the residents remain in their apartments for an average of 12 years. 40% of residents are employed on a part-or full-time basis; more than 98% contribute 30% of their income towards their rent.
