Dr. Rosa Gil and Dr. Mario Rendon

Speak out on Latina Teenage Suicide on

                                Bronxnet Television's "Dialogo Con Glenis"

Comunilife's President and CEO Dr. Rosa Gil's busy press schedule continued with an apearance on Bronxnet television's

Dialogo Con Glenis on January 7th at 5pm with her friend and colleague Dr. Mario Rendon. The program is the Spanish-speaking counterpart to the duo's earlier

interview on Bronxnet televisions "OPEN" program back on December 8th, 2009.

The topic of discussion was the "Life is Precious" program that Dr. Gil and Dr. Rendone created to combat Latina Teenage Suicide. 1 in 6

Latina girls between the ages of twelve and sixteen will attempt suicide, the highest average in the nation, according to the

Center for Disease Control. The average in New York City is even higher and the Bronx is the hardest hit of the

5 boroughs.

Life is Precious operates out of the Vida Guidance Center on Boston Road in the Bronx. The segment centered on the

problem of latina teenage suicide and the "Life is Precious Program".
